Unit, tenant, lease, and ticket together
01 — Context
Challenge
Units, tenants, and repair tickets were tracked by different people. A vacant unit and an open leak could both be true, and nobody saw both.
02 — Method
Approach
Each unit has occupancy, a lease record, and its maintenance tickets. Tenants use a small portal for requests. Contract files sit on private storage. This is an internal record, not a government tenancy registry. The company is unnamed.
Workflow
List the unit
Community, beds, and status. Photos are of the unit, not a logo.
Write the lease
Tenant, dates, rent, and the signed file. Occupied replaces Vacant.
Open maintenance
Tenant or staff opens a ticket on that unit. It stays visible on the unit card.
Outcomes
- Vacant, occupied, and maintenance are statuses on the unit
- A lease has start, end, rent, and the contract file
- Tenants file a request against the unit they occupy
