01 — Context

Challenge

The client needed request, assign, on-trip, and complete, without borrowing another brand's name. Dispatch was a group text.

02 — Method

Approach

Flutter apps for rider and driver. A Node API holds the trip. Live updates move status from requested to en route, on trip, and completed. Stripe takes the card. The desk can assign when automatic match is off. We do not publish the client's name.

Workflow

1. Request

   Rider sets pickup and dropoff. The trip opens as Requested.

2. Assign

   A driver accepts, or dispatch assigns. Status becomes En route.

3. Complete

   On trip, then completed. The card is captured against that trip.

Outcomes

• Rider and driver see the same trip status
• Dispatch can assign or let the match run
• Payment is a charge on trip complete, not a side invoice
